trying to get new puter up and going. Asus bios reads 47 to 49 degrees cpu/ 26 to29
degrees mobo when started, climbs guickly to 53 and 35, seems high. Having trouble
getting raid setup so haven't got any further than bios readings. Plenty of air flowing in
case, doesn't seem to matter. No temp difference in performance mode or optimal. Some
noise difference for sure. Even tried 90 cfm exaust fan, no change. Tried different
thickness of Artic Silver and tried Artic Ceramic, no change. Is this normal temp for the
Pentium 640 heat engine or am I missing something? O'yea, wiring is neet and run for
clear air flow, even used round cables on the sole dvd and floppy.
