I currently have the SeaSonic 760W 80+ Platinum Fully-Modular ATX PSU, and I was wondering if there was somewhere I could get a hold of a longer cable for my cpu or at least get extensions. I have seen replies saying that SeaSonic is good about his and that your cables should be plenty long, but I personally have had to make a shortcut to get where I needed to go on the motherboard. Instead of hiding the cable behind the motherboard like I wanted, I had to snake it in between my cpu and gpu. From the PSU manual I've read, it seems to be a 650 mm cable. Is there any way around this?
Ignore the fact my sound card is extremely close (touching in fact) to my gpu. That was placed there to show people regarding a problem I was having related to sound cards.
As you can see, the cable has to go in between the cpu cooler and gpu to get where t needs to go. It also subject to the exhaust from the cpu fan which might not be a problem. Even if it wasn't though the fact it's there bugs me.
