I travel every week and I go through luggage pretty regularly. I'm searching for some very durable luggage and hopefully it also looks good. Anyone out there have any advice for me?
When I was a traveling consultant (in the air almost every single week), I sucked it up and spent the money on some Briggs & Riley luggage (computer bag, 22" carry-on, garment bag, and a larger suitcase). Not only is it very durable, but it comes with a lifetime warranty against just about anything!
Your luggage must go through some kind of abuse! Do you check them all the time? I buy my carry-ons (19"-21") at places like TJMaxx and Marshalls and they last for years with almost weekly travel. Then again, I rarely check my luggage.
I'll admit though that those leather briefcase/laptop cases wear out really fast. Luckily, my job allows a more casual look, so I switched to an OGIO backpack and wish I'd done that sooner!
