Hey anandtech members , Im canadian , so I don't know much hot deals that goes around in U.S.. but I found this deal its pretty neat and would like to share.. and im sorry if this has been posted.. but associtedbag is promoting free samples of bubblemailers , envelopes ect , just click on add free sample (you can choose up to 5) and its free , its free in U.S and Canada.

For people in the States using USPS Priority Mail and Express Mail, you can get free boxes, tape, and envelopes directly from the post office.

Sure enough, it works. You can get up to 5 free samples, and it says at checkout, "Your free samples will be shipped at our expense. Thanks for your interest in our products." Just go to the individual items (like this one) that you want and click on the SEND FREE SAMPLE button.

I got 5 different ones. Would be way cool if these came, but let's be honest. Monday, gonna be a lot of: "sorry, we didn't plan on shipping $100,000 worth of free samples at a total cost of $500,000......"

Do they actually send an entire item that you request a sample of, or just a small 'sample'? Such as the bubble wrap... do they send a whole roll or just one sheet?

I doubt they are going to send you a roll of bubblewrap, let alone 5. But then again, how cool would that be?

this has happened before. Somsone hacked the staples coupon code system for a $100 off $100 coupon. Something like 50,000 orders were placed in about 2 hours

Not 'retail boxes' like you had ordered and paid for them.

Don't count on that 1000' roll of bubble wrap.

I hope they send the entire item and not just a 1 foot x 1 foot piece of the bubble wrap (that would suck!!). Anyways, I ordered 2 different sizes of bubble wrap. Hope it comes.

How abot a 100' roll?? You just might get the entire roll. You're pressing your luck with a 1000' roll.

Does anyone know where I can find the type of small boxes that a lot of PC etailers use for white box items like video cards? These boxes are about 9" wide X 6" deep X 1" tall. I checked this place and found various sizes of this type of box but didn't see the size I'm looking for.
