Need mATX Z170 recommendation using Intel IGP

Building a new PC with the following parts so far:
LianLi V351 Micro ATX case
i5-6500
16GB GSkill Ripjaws V
Samsung 256GB 850 Pro
mATX board??? - budget >$150, need USB 3.1 and m.2 for future upgrades

This system will be using the onboard Intel 530 IGP - mainly for surfing, streaming 1080P, some bluray playback, future proof for next 5-7 years.

Looked at ASrock Z170M Extreme4 and Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5, however the Gigabyte limits share memory to only 512MB - does this really matter for my usage? Which board is the best bang for the buck? I may add a videocard in the future when I upgrade to a 4K monitor. Will consider any other board that fits my needs. Thanks!

The ASrock Z170M Extreme4 seems to be the best value for the features.
The highest priced mATX Z170 board is the Asus Maximus VIII Gene.
Newegg often has open box copies for under $190.
There's also the SuperMicro C7-Z170:

Two features to look for: ALC1150 audio, Intel I219-V LAN port.
The Gigabyte G1 Gaming GA-Z170MX-Gaming 5 would also be a good choice, although it uses the Atheros Killer LAN port instead of Intel.
The SuperMicro is the only one of those that includes these 3 video ports: DP, HDMI & DVI-D.
I prefer the dual-bios feature of Gigabyte boards.
Ideally, Gigabyte would offer (at some point in time) a mATX Z170 board with the same video port options as the SuperMicro C7-Z170, and with the same (ALC1150 audio & Intel I219-V LAN) ports as the Asrock and Asus Maximus VIII Gene.
Or, in other words: a SuperMicro C7-Z170 board, but made by Gigabyte and with a Gigabyte dual bios.

Thanks for the info. I haven't build a system in a while, would the 512MB max share for the Gigabyte hinder day to day bluray / streaming? Can't find much info on that using my google-fu... The Supermicro looks interesting with the DP, will look into it.

I ended up going full ATX because options for USB 3.1 and DP 1.2 are quite limited right now with Skylake boards.

Seems like you don't need an i5 though. An i3-6100 seems like all you need. It has the HD530 graphics as well.
