Question Need monitor recommendation

Would like recommendation w/ the following preference for my PC:

27-29"
HDR
FreeSync
4k
USB-C docking for my macbook
Under $600

The only panel I can think of that comes close is the LG 32UL950-W

But it's 32", and over $1100.

But it's one of the few 4k, HDR, freesync displays with thunderbolt 3 for the macbook.

Does it have to say thunderbolt 3 to work with the macbook? This only says usb-c

Amazon reviews say usb c works with macbook but usb hub on monitor only get 2.0 speeds

The specs say it's USB type-C 3.1 Gen 1, which if accurate is only 5gbps throughput, that wouldn't be enough for a 4k signal as far as I am aware. Whereas Thunderbolt 3 is 40gbps. Much MUCH higher bandwidth.
