Lightly used Porsche Boxster?
just curious, but why the 135is over the 135i? isnt the 135is simply a 135i with performance power kit slapped on, or a tune? it would have saved a bit of money. Finding a used 1m for a bit more is possible if you look hard enough too.
regardless, congrats on the purchase. I love the size of the 1-series

Ah, too bad you didn't go with carbon black, it's an "is" only color. Good luck with the wheels in NYC though, the N55 does sound much different when you open it up with the performance exhaust that comes on the 135is.
You can order Carbon Black on any 135i as long as you throw on the sport package option. I know what you mean about the wheels, the GTI has had the tire on each corner replaced at least twice in two years, no actual wheel damage though.
Did not consider the Cayman, as i already have a SLK and i need backseats for my daughter's carseat.
Oh you're right, I had forgotten they had added for ZMP as well, just like Le Mans. Still a pretty rare color though, sort of like sparkling graphite metallic. Hopefully your daughter isn't in a rear facing seat, that'll be a squeeze to get it in there.
That's the car I want. What sold you on the 135i? The power?
It's rear facing, but she should be fine, her mother is really short lol.
Good luck, I don't even attempt to put my Keyfit 30 in mine, she's about ready to move into the Recaro, so I may try that one in the back. If they just would have made a middle seat back there like the E81 has, it would fit perfectly instead of having that plastic tray.
We have a Keyfit 30... This should be interesting haha. Might have to buy a new carseat.
The problem with the infant carriers are they are just so deep, front facing isn't an issue but with a rear facing it just needs to be more upright then long.
Ugh carseats, I hate these things. I have a 5 month old (rear-facing) and a 3 yr old boy (front facing) who are at the top of the charts in height. I just picked up a Hyundai Genesis so the boys will have more legroom in the back while in their carseats and I can keep my knees out of my chest while driving.
back on topic, congrats on the 1 series, I actually like those cars a lot, it seems they get a bad rep for some reason. We need pics!
Car is here, posted some pics on the first post. I'll put up some more pics tomorrow when i get to play with it some more.
I loved my GTI and my Jetta TDI, I'd get another without hesitation. Your dealer sucks/you got a lemon. Shit happens.
Nice pics, can you post some interior pics as well?
