Car is great so far, i've been using my standard new car break-in method: Drive it like you stole it. The car in sport mode is a completely different animal, and that exhaust noise is just great. Got pulled over by NYPD earlier, they wanted to make sure it wasn't stolen since it had temp plates... think the cops were bored lol.

The voice recognition actually WORKS, entered multiple addresses by voice command and it processed them all correctly.

I'm $#@! jealous!

i've had the same experience with audis. my 2010 audi, burned oil like crazy due to a piston ring defect audi finally admitted to. my cousins 2010 audi same thing.

i had the exhaust fail. a fuel injector fail. etc. i have another friend her 2008 A4, had the engine rebuilt after the first year. then various other maladies that have required it be flatbedded away to be repaired.

my friend's wife bought a 2013 S4 2 weeks ago. the electronic parking brake failed... after 5 days.

im convinced VW doesnt know how to actually build a reliable car.

Not if you don't want to. There are a few little plastic standoffs that you cut off to enable it. The button does not have the icon but not a big deal.

Neither of the buttons will have icons since the 135i doesn't have front fogs. Switch is $70 or so, pretty simple to swap out as well, I have in mine.

For $2 you can draw the symbols on with a white or silver Sharpie!!

Isn't there a way to return the lease since you have been having so many problems? Sucks that you are still paying the POS.

I can easily get rid of it, just haven't got around to it.
