Need opinions of wireless pay as go phone service. And the Motorola v176.

I have been using tracfone for a few years. I have one of those old, cr*ppy phones by Nokia.
I like the Motorola V176 which I have only seen in pics. Is it any good? I can get one for free if I sign up for a year in the next few days, since my current year is ending.
I also only use about 300 minutes a year. The phone is only used in emergencies.
Tracfone has a one year deal for 99.00 which gives me all the minutes I need.
So, should I continue with tracfone and maybe just get a Motorola v176 (btw I don't like the razors which are available). Or should I switch to another of the prepaid wireless companies?

I just wanted to refer you to Let's Talk Wireless since you will be able to do a plan comparison search from their homepage. I actually took a look for you though and it appears that you may be able to get a better deal through T-mobile. The only problem with T-mobile is their coverage areas are supposedly not that great, so check out the map to see if the coverage is good in your area. OP, if Tracfone is working well for you, I wouldn't change it. ESPECIALLY wouldn't go into a contract with somebody just to get a fancy new phone you're not even going to use.
