Need ram expert advice.

I will need some DDR333/Pc2700 rams for my Granite bay motherboard. Corsair is too rich for my blood. I narrowed it down to two rams.
Samsung and crucial PC2700. Crucial is couple dollars more. Samsung two sticks sells for ($137) and Cruial ($143). The thing I am worry about is most of the sellers selling samsung chip on 3rd party board. Should I go for samsung or Crucial?

wait a little more for sis655 Based Mobos.. Should be cheaper and I dont think you will see lots of Granite Bay around until Earlly January

Anyone actually sellls TRUE Samsung? True Samsung is Samsung chip on Samsung board. The Samsung PC2700 sold by Newegg is Samsung chip on 3rd party board.

Don't know who sells TRUE Samsung Pc2700. If anyone knows, let me know.

NewEgg is advertising the PC2700 DDR333 as TRUE Samsung, Don't think they are allowed to advertise this way if it's a 3rd party vendor.

"True" could just mean the chips are true Samsung chips.

Do you see they put "OEM Version" on the description now?
"Samsung Original DDR333 PC-2700 256MB CAS2.5 - OEM Version"
And they use a generic photo for such Samsung memory now.
