Hi all,
So, I have a sub/amp combo hooked up right now, here are the specs:
Alpine Type-R 12" DVC Subwoofer SWR=1242D
Rockford Fosgate 2-channel Punch Amplifier P5002
Q-Logic Subwoofer Box
I have that setup, but for some odd reason my amplifier keeps overheating.. I checked the manual and I have it oriented how they want you to do it in the manual and everything..
My question is - Do I need to get a higher-powered amplifier for the subwoofer and then just run it like 1/2 power? That should cool things down, right? Ugh! I'm lost!! Help!
