You mean to tell me that it did not come with a factory installed alarm/security system? If you want to reduce your insurance costs and get the car back then use "LoJack" if it is availiable in your area.
Other than that you might tie a big dog to the bumper.............................
Factory alarms suck, because they are all the same. The thieves know how to defeat them. By having a custom installed alarm at least you stand a fighting chance.

No you don't. If a real car theif wants your car you don't stand a chance. An alarm will only keep someone away if they don't know what they are doing and nothing more. As I said if a car theif wants your car they will take it period. But as I said if you want it back try "LoJack". It is a system ant the "ONLY" system that sends a signal straight to your local law enforcement agency if they are on the system. Most major citys are hooked up but not all.
