need router recommendation

I'm shopping for a router for a local dentistry. I haven't shopped for a business router before and would like some recommendations. I'm looking for something that can do two wireless networks, one secure and another for guests. I'd also like some gateway firewall and antivirus security measures. I'm not sure what else I'd be looking for. Thanks

How many people you looking to serve ?
How big of a area do you need to cover via wireless ?
Do you need gigabit, or is 100Mbs good enough ?

You won't get antivirus in a business router. If you want it as part of your gateway infrastructure, then you can get an antivirus appliance. Generally, though, this will slow down your connection massively.

From the sound of it, you're looking for a firewall router. You can check out devices from Sonicwall, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.

Medical office's network has to be HIPAA compliant you should get a consultant that is specializing in such network.

Budget is 1-500, possibly more if needed.

12 workstations but limited internet browsing.

Gigabit needed.

I don't think it needs to be excessively powerful, the office is two floors and maybe 3000 square feet total.

I'll look at the Hipaa compliances. I'm not sure that means if I cannot make an upgrade to their network or not, I don't think the previous techs had any special credentials.

I don't think you need any special licenses for HIPAA, you just have to have proper security on the network to prevent leaking of the medical records. Secure wireless network, antivirus, etc.

Thanks Billybob, but that one can't do wireless. What should I add to that? I know it might seem dumb to ask but the few offices I've worked with have already have everything capable of it.
