Need settings for a K62-475afx ! All Done, Thanks for the Answers And Great Links

I need the settings for a K62-475afx 2.2 volt core 3.3 volt IO, and if anybody knows a site that has easy setup instructions for all types of CPU, I would like that also. Dont
know how many times have had a old chip or AMD chip that I do not know what the multiplyer is or mhz to set... And where the heck is it on AMD site.. there site sucks for data like this... or am I just blind.. I am also sick of downloading there PDF files and not finding the info I need.. Any help would be appreciated.....

The K6-2/475 runs on a 95MHz FSB and a multiplier of 5X.

Jakeman, I can practically GUARANTEE that if you set the front side bus to 100, the multiplier to 5 (at least) you will have NO problems. The K6 line was flaky for overclocking, but the chip you have is essentially a 500 that they marketed at a lower bin speed. The 5Mhz increase will do wonders for your overall system peformance while you're at it too! I've NEVER had a K6 fail to do at least 50Mhz overclock, although anything over that you usually have to work for. Oh yeah, make sure you have SOME kind of passable heat sink and fan on that puppy, they tend to run somewhat warm....

Yep, /475 is supposed to be run at 95 MHz 5.0x.

The AFX suffix decodes to "standard socket-7, 2.2V, 65 degrees C" - also meaning that this K6-2 is from the latest manufacturing process that binsplits up to 550 MHz.
