Need Software to do this...

i work in an office and i need some software that will access the phone system at intervals i select and play a sound file over the pa system. i need to be able to make the sound file as it will change. any ideas?

if you are running a PBX type system find the manufacturer and call them, see if they have an SDK - alot of PBX phone systems use cat5 which means you could connect your computer to it, give it whatever information it needs and have it do what you want...maybe

I depends a great deal on your phone system. The cisco AAVID accomplishes tasks differently than a Toshiba system and Nortel is yet different from those two.
