Howdy guys, I am in need of some more advice:
I'm rebuilding a website for a company that I work for, and I'm having gone hell of a time digging up a nice, sharp-looking navigation menu. I've been looking through the goodies at Dynamic Drive and a couple other sites like it. My problem is, I can't write up my own javascripts (I'm a total n00b), so I've been depending on freebies for the ridiculous sites that I've built just for fun. I thought I could do that for this too, but I just can't seem to find one that works out for me.
There have been a couple of really nice ones that use .js files that I really liked because I can configure the menu in one place, instead of changing like 15 pages every time I have to modify the menu. Usually those ones seem to like to have an absolute position which wreaks havoc on my style.
I have thought about building one in Flash (I'm trying to learn that as I go), but I don't know how to get flash windows to pop open outside of the original .swf box. Otherwise Flash would be awesome for this situation. I've also heard rumors that Macromedia Fireworks might be able to help my situation.
Does anyone know where I can find some more snazzy-looking javascript/dhtml menus that I could look into that are cheap or free for commercial use?
Work in progress here: http://www.glottal.com/TEST/
(Also, constructive critisizm if ya got any would be dandy)
Thanks guys!
