Hi all,

I was referred here by a friend who told me this wass the right place to ask. basically I am a first timer to computer buildings. Its not as if I don't know anything about computers, its just my first time, so I am posting here to ask for a little help.

I intend to buy parts to build a PC designed for gaming. below you will see what parts I have chosen so far and where I am buying them. I live in Brussels, Belgium (Europe) and I buy my parts in Germany because of quality/price reasons, so if you have a suggestion for a different component, it would be great if you took it from the website, it is in English, simply click the British flag in the top right corner after you follow the link.

Windows XP Professional: http://www1.atelco.de/articled....jsp?aid=2482&agid=185

The total price is around 1000 euros, which is not too bad european price. I am basically asking if these are good components for a gaming PC and whether anyone has any advice on better parts for equal price or something like that, just general advice.

Thanks in advance

Gordo

EDIT: Moving Topic to general hardware since I just found out thats where I need to post. Sorry.

I don't mean to come off as rude, but buying XP Professional now is the dumbest idea ever.

The rest looks fine, though, personally, I prefer Seasonic PSU's to Antec. You can't go wrong with either though

Hang in a few more months and buy Windows 7. I agree that XP would be a waste of bucks right now unless you can not wait. Overall system is not bad. Nice layout on the motherboard. Copper pipes are great.
