Ok, i'll make this as detailed as possible. On my other computer(specs are AN35N Ultra 400, 2600+ 512mb pc 3200 RAM, Radeon 9600 pro). Ok anyways what happens is the computer starts to boot up, but it turns off before it can get to anything, and the monitor seems not to detect the presence of the computer, or that its on. If you know what i can do, please tell me, i tried switching the PSU, but the problem persisted, could it have to do with the mainboard?

cpu fan not spinning up right away or not sending the speed signal to the mb can make it shutdown after a few seconds.

CPU fan seems to be working fine, i havnt tried another video card, it seems its a bigger problem then that, since it shuts down out of nowhere.

Check your heatsink installation carefully against the photos in this guide. There are three things here:

1) heatsink oriented the correct direction

2) thermal-transfer material between heatsink and CPU core (brand-new unmelted thermal patch or else high-quality thermal grease, and make sure you took any protective plastic coverslips off of the patch if it has one)

3) if your heatsink's clip has slide-play, like the Thermalrights do, then follow the additional Thermalright-type tips linked next to the third photo

The start-then-shutdown scenario is usually caused by a thermal-transfer problem, so that's why I suggest checking this. Post back if it isn't the issue

I built, it worked for about a week, then started to do the rebooting thing more ofter, and now it wont even boot up, i left the thermal pad on HS, didnt wanna mess with greese. I dont think its related to any thing with the processor, but what in the motherboard could cause it to do this?

Try a new high-quality power supply (Enermax, Antec, Fortron) if you have one available.

I had this problem once after I set my motherboard on performance settings in the BIOS.
Try clearing the CMOS.

Otherwise it sounds like a complicated problem that needs a lot of diagnosing

Well i cant even get into cmos or any of that, could the motherboard battery be a problem the PSU i got, isnt a name brand, but it works fine, i know that, since i used to use it, i just wanted more wattage. Where would i get a motherboard battery anyway?

You can get a motherboard battery at the supermarket, they'll have them for about $2-3. Still thinkin' your symptoms sound a lot like a bad power supply here... (or a heat-transfer problem between CPU and heatsink, but you say it's on in the correct direction)

the fan and everything start up, even the video card fan, it just isnt detected by monitor, and shuts down about 10 seconds after it is initially turned on.

CPU overheat is the usual reason for an unexpected shutdown shortly after startup. One other possibility is a stuck Power button on your case. If you unplug the system from the wall, wait a few seconds, and then plug it into the wall again, does it start by itself?

It had been doing that about a week ago, but i messed with the connections some, and got it to work, then it progressed to doing this, i think it still starts up on its own sometimes tho.

Try this: unplug the case's power button wire from the motherboard. Now tickle the motherboard's Power Button pins with something metal to make momentary electrical contact between them. This signals the computer to start the power supply. If the system remains running, your case's power button may be internally mechanically faulty. Give it a whirl

Ok, well i replaced PSU, that didnt work, tickling with screw driver, while it did boot it up, didnt stop if from shutting down a few moments later, tried mobo battery, didnt change anything.

The Problem is that the monitor is not detecting the computer or visa versa, and when it starts up, it turns off within 10 seconds, for no reason, what could be causing this?

Ok, we get that you changed the power supply but what power supply did you put in it as a replacement. A raidmax is not good enough for your system. You need a name brand power supply such as enermax, antec, etc. as mechBgon already said.

if you only have one optical drive and one hard drive almost any PS should run it. I think your mindset is that it has to be the motherboard and my mindset is that it is a heat problem. Remove the hsf from the chip and clean off all the melted crap and put any kind of heatsink grease on it. One of the clips may have slipped off the socket so check that.
