Okay here is the deal, I recently installed Mandrake Linux on one of my comps. Well I decided to give this computer to my parents cause they need a new machine. Since they were going to be using it they needed win98 on there...
So, last night I go to install win98. Now here is the problem. I went to format the drive using fdisk and the comp just locks up on me whenever I select any options in fdisk(I'm talking about the screen after you select if you want to enable large disk support). So instead of using fdisk to format the drive i decided to boot directly from the 98 cd and see if the 98 installer would wipe the drive. Well the setup locks up on me as well right when it goes to the screen to reformat the drive(after selecting reformat drive). Is there something i need to do differently since I had linux on there? It was the first time I have ever used linux so I'm not sure if there is something that i need to do to get rid of the partitions.
Any help would be appreciated cause i'm trying to get this comp running before mothers day hehe
