also when i was thinking of getting be6-2 v2.0 w/ raid
and i was wondering. when i've installed everything. should i just put my cdrom and hd and vidcard in only? and when do i install windows.

irq= basically...where your hardware sits...if yanother hardware wants to sit there...your hardware gets grumpy and all hell comes loose...but dont worry about them too much...youll hardly run into any...i said hardly

dip switches...ya pretty much same concept...without the hassle of the jumper

you should go to the properties of your sound card..dunno what OS you are using so no idea of path...check device manager...anywho...go to resources.."in 98" and uncheck use automatic settings...change irq to one that does not have conflicts...voila! should reboot...good to go!

well my os is win98plus pII@333, hope fully ur suggustion will work, can't do it now, cuz i just unistalled my soundcard =P

i also was going to upgrade to a be6-2 v2.0 with pIII@800e

if anyone can tell me more about why i shouoldn't tell me plz!!!
