Hello everybody, I'm a high school science teacher and plan to eventually teach a computer class. I have a CPUmark99 database (yes, I know it's old and not a great indicator) that I would like to complete. I am going to eventually create a chart of processor release date vs. CPUmark99 score. CPUmark99 is good for this because it has been around for a while and can be quickly run on just about any system, allowing comparisons all the way back to 386 based systems.
The program is really small and installs NOTHING in your computer, it runs directly from the *.exe file in about a minute.
I will post the final results and chart when I complete it.
I have uploaded the CPUmark99 file here
Please note your processor type and motherboard/memory speed (what it's running at).
I really need some Athlon Thunderbird scores and a 386 score if anyone still has one running!
Thanks all.
