Hi, yesterday I completed building my new system and installed Windows xp Professional on it. My previous system was a HP system that came with an XP home edition pre-installed.
I have the hardrive from the previous system connected right now, though I can't boot into XP (due to all the hardware conflicts) and I can access all the files, except those that I stored in my documents and desktop (there were a lot). Whenever I try to access those folders, it says "permission denied". I used a password to log-in in the previous system, and I still remember the password, but I don't know what I should do to gain access to those folders and get back the files.
Is there a way?
