1. What YOUR PC will be used for. Gaming
2. What YOUR budget is. $500-600 before rebates, although I probably won't die if I go a little over budget.
3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from. USA
4. IF YOU have a brand preference. Not really
5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are. Monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, OS, HD.
6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads. Yes, plenty.
7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds. Yes eventually, just gonna get it running stock for a while to save money on a cooler.
8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with. 1920 x 1080
9. WHEN do you plan to build it? Hoping to buy stuff tonight if possible, otherwise within a week or two.

Okay, so today at Micro Center I got:
i5 2500k + this mobo for $245 after tax.
What I need now is...well, everything else. I wanna play newer games like skyrim at like high settings (ultra is cool too ) and play it at a good framerate, with my current PC I'm used to choppiness on even medium settings and I'm fed up with not playing these newer games very well, if at all. It looks like I have about 350 left to spend, I realize that's not a ton to work with, but I don't need to spend it all if it's not necessary. Don't need a fancy case or anything like that, the simple stuff will do. Thanks.
