I was dead set on the NETGEAR WNDR3700-100NAS for my new router:

But I also need a wireless bridge (if that's the right term) to go along with it.
I need at least 3 ethernet "outs" to feed my XBox360, PS3, and DirecTV receiver.
There don't appear to be any Netgear products that do what I need, so I figured
I'd go with the D-Link DAP-1522 bridge/access point:

Then I started thinking about the potential PITA it might be to get these two devices to get along, so I started considering the D-Link DIR-825 router:

I guess I'm asking what is the optimal pairing for ease-of-use/setup and performance. Most of the reviews I've read all rave about the Netgear WNDR3700 and while I can't find anything REALLY negative about the D-Link router....I'm just not totally sold on it. I do a lot of streaming of HD content and some console gaming too, if that's important.
Help.....?

Client Bridging is usually better when the two devices have the same Wireless chipset.

That's what I suspected. Can anyone recommend a Netgear bridge to pair with the Netgear WNDR3700-100NAS? Looking at the specs on their own website, I'm not finding what I think I need to be finding.....

I know it's kind of gauche to reply to my own thread, but I want to make sure about some things before I blow the cash:

This router (Netgear WNDR3700-100NAS)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833122326

should get along perfectly with this ranger extender (Netgear WN2000RPT)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833122376

Meaning, I want the range extender to take the wireless-N signal from
the router, and spit it out (wired) to my devices. Which are an older XBox360, PS3, and
a DirecTV HD-DVR box. None of which (obviously) have built-in wireless-N.
Am I right?
