Need some NiMH AA's and a charger

Any suggestions? These will be used mostly in photography, which is why I'm posting here - to power a Pentax K100D (a friend's), flashes for the K100D and a Rebel XT, and my own Canon A80. Might use some in a battery grip for the XT too, if I ever get around to buying one Quantity discounts would be a good thing too, since I'm looking at buying probably a dozen or more.

From what I've read, the Eneloops made by Sanyo are pretty good batteries. I bought a recharging kit that comes with 8AA, 4AAA, 2C converters, 2D converters, and a charger all for around $25 at Costco.

They are approximately 2000mAh. People claim that these batteries hold their charge for a long time so you don't have to constantly recharge them every week or what not.

I just got these so I haven't been able to test them out to their full potential quite yet.

after reading a bunch of reviews I bought a Maha MH-C401FS with a set of PowerEx of 2700mAh batteries. They work.

Eneloop or RayOvac Hybrid over any of the standard Nimh cells. They are worth the extra $. I recently saw some Duracell branded "PreCharged" rechargables that would fit into this group but haven't heard about performance yet.

Nice deal on a good flexible charger and Eneloop batteries.

The Maha branded low discharge cells are good if you need more than what is included with the charger.

if you can get all that for $20 thats a good deal, but otherwise i dont have any problems with regular nimh. they do self discharge but thats after months so who cares. i found an 80 pack of panasonic nimh aa's on ebay once for $55 shipped. im still using them about 4 years later.
