Need some opinions on car detailing brushes

I bought a CRV that was used a rural mail carrier vehicle for dirt cheap and it was disgustingly dirty on the inside. I have did that basic shop vacuuming but I need to do some real deep detailing. I have seen youtube videos where people use brushes that go on a drill to really clean good, does anyone have experience doing this? I could also use some opinions on cleaning sprays etc for the interior, it has cloth interior.

I don't see why you'd need a motorized brush. Let your cleaner sit a moment to loosen up the gunk instead of using abrasion. A microfiber cloth should work fine, though some leave behind water droplets so I'd use a soft cotton cloth to get the last bit of water up on anything where it would leave water spots.

Warm detergent solution on metals and plastics, sparingly where there are seams so it doesn't get sucked in by foam and mold. Very soft toothbrush for cracks, and an upholstery shampoo and vacuum for cloth, leather cleaner/conditioner for leather.

Want some grotesque car cleaning challenge videos on YouTube and you'll see why you'd want a motorized brush. It's amazing how disgusting people let their cars get. A postal vehicle might get treated like a rental by the people who work at the post office. at the very least if it's driving windows down along dusty country roads all the time there's probably a lot of fine dirt built up in all the fibers.

^ I still wouldn't want one.
1) That would fling the dirt.
2) That's what vacuuming ahead of time is for.
3) That's a lot of abrasion.

I could see using a beater bar (aka power head) vac on the carpeting, but nowhere else. Cleaning a vehicle does not need special equipment or magic chemicals. Things have been cleaned for centuries using mere soap, water, and a rag.
