Need some serious opinions

All jokes aside, just so everything's clear; I've never had a girlfriend before. ******, I've never even kissed a girl before.

I blame this mainly on my self-confidence, for I have none. But then again, I think it's probably also about my...physical appearance.

First of all, here's a picture of me.

I need some opinions...Decent, Ugly, Hideous, 3rd degree burn victims are better looking?

Would you say it's my self confidence holding me back or my looks? Or even both?

Its your confidence. I've seen uglier people have girlfriends. You also look kinda like my old roommate and he got a girlfriend.

hmm, i'd say you're definitely lacking the self confidence. go to banana republic, get some nice clothes that fit you well, and you'll immediately feel more confident. i didn't believe this before i tried it, and i'm convince that if you feel like you look good, it will show.

second, go to an expensive barber. pay that 35 bucks just once, see what it's like, and i guarentee you'll feel better about yourself

EDIT: and consider shaving part of your face. try going with a clean goatee.

IF the chips arent flying, it is time to get a sharper axe or a softer log.

make the decision on which it is, and fix it. More than likely it is your personality. I know that may sting, but it is usually the case.

Take robothouse77's advice - get some nice clothes, Banana Republic, Gap, Express all come to mind as good places to go, it is amazing the difference it makes. Do you have any friends that'll take you out to meet chicks / give you pointers? Don't stress out about it too much you may meet someone when you least expect it.

Yep, it's definately a confidence issue. Can't tell exactly how you look like with just a mug shot, but you're not ugly. If you're worried about your apperance, perhaps get some new clothes or change your hair. As said, there are much uglier guys that have very good lookin women .. looks aren't as important as you'd think. Once you have confidence in yourself and start believing in it, it'll show when you start meeting/talking/dating women. So start gaining confidence, pronto!

er define creepy.... sometimes i feel creepy but that might be a different "creepy" than yours.

Overall just act like you know what you're doing. You don't need great clothes. Just wear clothes that fit & look good you your type of body. Besides that, it matters just where you spend your time.

1. get new clothes
2. grow ur hair a little and then go to a top notch barber
3. try something non-conformal with ur facial hair - the full goatee is too common
4. pubs, beer, rinse, repeat
