Need STOCK Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro heatsink/fan

I put a VGA silencer on my Radeon 9800 Pro but it croaked and now I can't find the original fan/heatsink.

Does anyone have one or can point me in the right direction?

so you're trying to get an original HSF so you can RMA it?

if so, go search for a "flamesuit" on eBay, you'll need it.

EDIT: If you're saying that your VGA silencer croaked and you just need a HSF, then I'll eat crow.

Dude, I talked to Sapphire support and they said as long as the card is shipped back in original form, they will RMA it. I was upfront and honest with them and told them I had put a VGA silencer on it and he didn't care as long as it was shipped back in ORIGINAL form.

The card won't start up anymore. I tried it in various computer. No video whatsoever.

Yeah, some companies are really liberal with their RMA policies; but some of the posters here are straight up psyco about it.

no harm intended, I stand corrected...

lots of people aren't as honest as you, and would try to RMA a piece of hardware without talking to the manufacturer and explaining the situation.

Yeah, I figured, you could probably try to pull the wool over their eyes but I figured being upgront and honest would be the best way.

I already bought a new video card so this is just was a "I will write them and HOPEFULLY they can replace this" so I was honest and they said they would!

I saw a broken 9800 Pro on eBay last week but it already ended That would have been perfect...

head over to the fs/ft board here, and make a post: "WTB: stock HSF for 9800 pro" (WTB stands for want to buy). eBay might even have some stock coolers, I'll look over there in a second

I'm in Kansas. How does $10 sound, plus a couple for shipping. I'm worried that the missing pin to mount it would give you a problem though. I tried to find it, but no luck yet.
