Not sure why there are so few PWM fans available. Fan sizes like that are usually restricted to case fan duty, so they ship with cases instead of being sold separately. You might be able to scavenge something useful off a case. That being said, I doubt those fans would be better than the Noctua ones.

dont..
off size rads will not perform better then standard size specifically because fans for standard size are way highly more optimized.

Even when you compare a 140mm to a 120mm, the 120 will still have a slight advantage in the performance area because 120mm fans are just that much better then 140mm fans in selection.

The only time a 140mm radiator is preferred is when you want an absolute noise advantage.
But then your missing out about 20% of the performance aspect of water cooling, unless you want to break your wallet in getting 30 dollar 140mm noctua IPC fans.

There are some decent 140mm fans out there now. Over time, I expect them to get better. Noctuas are popular, as are some of the Noiseblockers (eLoops, PK series, etc) and EK Vardar fans. Sadly, if you go for the real performance, 140mm brings the noise.

As for those 200mm fans . . . the Noctua one looks okay, but the static pressure is actually not that good. I considered using a 4x230mm fan setup on my MO-RA3 (possible with adapter), but in the end the total airflow and static pressure looked pretty bad. I went with 9x140mm instead.

140mm? You could have had over 30 little 40mm fans spinning at 4k, making a single 40mm chipset fan seem small and inaudible.

Yeah, I looked for giant AC & DC fans for those square radiators. Any idea why we have to peice together 4 or 9 fans? A single fan of equivilant area must be more efficient?

In theory, yes. It comes down to supply and demand. Right now there isn't much demand for huge radiator fans. Large rads (larger than 480mm) are kind of niche already, and those choosing to use large fans for silence purposes are a niche within a niche. What you wind up with are fans predominantly designed for case intake duty. That does not necessarily make them suitable for rads.
