Hey, I'll be traveling out to the west coast in January and part of my trip will involve climbing a peak. Last year I tried Mount Whitney but was turned around due to bad weather. While Whitney remains a possibility, I am most strongly considering Mount Shasta or The Brothers (in Olympic State Forrest near Seattle). I am open to other suggestions, but am looking for a mountain which doesn't require rope (only crampons/ice axe), so probably nothing over class III.
For my schedule it can only be for a maximum of two days of hiking.
Thanks!
