I wanna Upgrade my Graphics card but I dont know where to start because my PSU is significantly weak.Here are my specs
My specs are
Dell Intel R Core i3-2130 CPU @ 3.40 GHz(4 CPUs)
6144MB RAM
Intel HD Graphics 2000
Power 220W
Pre-Built Dell Pc Inspiron 660s

Games I play are just SWTOR right now but I'd like to be playing GTA IV or atleast assassins creed 1.I live in Louisianna and as to the budget im not sure

I would get a nice 7750. Maybe a oc version very low power. Cheap probably around 100 dollars or less.

Thats a pretty slow older card.
If thats roughly your budget i would look for a good used card like a 7750 (DDR5 version) or GT650.

I would not add a card with that cheap oem psu. its "rated" for 13 amps at 25-30 C when brand new. in realistic conditions it cant even make that. you may have 10-11 amps at best in realistic conditions to work with on the day you bought and even less after a year of use. when brand new that's realistically probably 132 watts at best. after a year I would take off at least 1 if not 2 amps. that probably leaves about 120 watts at best on the 12v and 90-95% of your power will come from that. you dont want to push a cheap psu hard at all as they are made with cheap components that will degrade even faster. there is a reason Dell does not even offer any discreet cards with those setups.

With a 400w psu you can run up to a 7970 in your machine.

I actually explained why it would not be something he should do. and that psu has zero protection so when it goes other stuff can go with it.
