By the way, I was checking the Wikipedia entry on Bone Marrow just now, and right below the part where it talks about transferring these stem cells to another patient as a therapy, it talks about the use of bone marrow in Pho soup... how appropriate, given your cousin's family's name!

You've probably already thought of this, but if you hop on a flight to Vietnam or China you'll have people lining up in the streets to take the test if you offer some sort of compensation. $1,000 goes a LONG way in those countries. That would be in the neighborhood of 3 - 6 months earnings for the average citizen.

Actually this is a great idea... win win. Though i dunno how you're gonna transport the marrow back home (if you could even trust that it'd get back safely)
