Need to Redo a Vasectomy

So I had a Vasectomy done last March. Dropped off 4 samples a few months apart. The last one, dropped off last week, showed more live sperm! Arg now I have to go back and do this shit all over again. Apparently this time they'll cut further along the vas and cauterize, extra stitch, something else and place the ends on different planes. At least this time I'll be under. Has this happened to anyone? Was pain/discomfort worse after?

Is the second one free since they didn't get it right the first time or are they blaming it on you and saying your herculean reproductive system can't be stopped with the standard procedures. If it's the latter you should put that on your resume and business cards.

it's not that bad. word of warning though. you will feel really good after but no matter the temptation do not jump..just don't do it. i did..it hurt.

Usually they send the cups home in a paper bag. It goes back to the lab in a paper bag. If you want fun, lug in a gallon jug of piss for a 24 hour urine collection. That one is a hoot to carry in sloshing away.

This happened to me. Had to do it again 2 months after the 1st time. The procedure was no better the 2nd time than the 1st time even though I knew what to expect. There was no charge for the 2nd time but it sucked nonetheless. It did work the 2nd time though.

I walked into the office with a bunch of old people looking at me. I guess the long haired hippy look still draws a lot of attention. I then went to the receptionist stating I'm here to drop off a sample. Mistake #1, I should have been more specific. She asks with no shame in a plain clear voice "Urine or Sperm?". With the lowest voice possible I say "sperm...". I then reach into my bag and hand it to her in plain sight. You'd think after 4 times I would have found a better way of doing this...
