Need Video Card Recommendations

Hey, help me out w/ some video card advice. I have a GeForce4 Ti4400 I'm looking to replace and I have about $200 to spend. One of my friends already suggested I get a XFS GeForce FX 5700 for $180 and that's looking pretty good. But I figured I'd run it by some others here first. Thanks guys.

9800 pro will be quite a bit better than the 5700 but if your not having problems running the games you want to play you may just want to wait for the next round of video cards to go down in price although it may be a while before they reach 200. 9800 pro is a good one though, check the hot deals section or for sale section to find a good price.

Like others have said, 9800 Pro, I have it and its amazing.

Or if you want a save some money get Radeon 9600 Pro XT.

But 9800 Pro is a better choice.

9800 Pro @ $200. THe 9800 Pro will kill the FX5700 completely and not to mention the FX5700 is way overpriced at $180.

Thanks so far guys, pretty much everyone is telling me that I should go 9800 pro. (I posted the same topic on the Something Awful forums too.)

If you can wait till july, the current prices are going to drop so that $400 card may be a $200 dollar card shortly, once the 6800 and ATI new ones start filling the channels so that you can get a hold of one all the other cards will start dropping in price.

Be sure and get the 256 bit version though. Don't be fooled by the cheaper priced 128's.
