This is the first time I'm ever doing something like this. I snagged a Dell GX280 (Celeron 2.5 GHZ w/ 1g DDR2 RAM) and put WinXP Pro and XBMC on it. Added a seagate 1.5 terabyte drive and everything is setup how I want it. I just need to hook it up to the Philips 37pfl5322D. The computer has a PCI-e x16 slot, a PCI-e x1 slot, and 3 standard PCI slots.

This is mostly going to be for watching movies and television shows that I download from usenet, however I was given a WinTV-PVR-150 so that is installed and I hope to also be able to record analog television (I'll have to research what software I need for that)

I also want to use it for games. I know it's not that powerful of a machine but it should be able to handle some 3D games at low settings and emulators.

Now this being the first time doing anything like this, I'm not sure what path to take with the video card. This TV, although cheap, has a lot of connections. It has an analog connection where I can hook the tower directly to it like a PC monitor. Now I'm guessing that won't be the best option but it's there.

These are the specs from Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16889104095)

I was looking at the All in Wonder HD card but I don't need the coax in since I've got a PCI card doing that. I was wondering if there was a cheaper card out there that would let me watch my movies/series at the best quality without the coax options.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Edit: I was looking on newegg and came across the Radeon HD 3450 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/...?Item=N82E16814102724) It seems to be perfect for plying mkv files to the TV at hi def but won't allow me to do much gaming which I can live with... Do you guys think it's a good card for my TV?
