I need a shoe that slips on and off easily, is waterproof, and will provide better than average traction on iced winter sidewalks and driveways.
Price is flexible and if they are good quality I can go up to around 150. Oh, and the brand in question must keep wide and extra wide sizes in stock. Actually, regular wide would probably be OK.
I saw some nice Merrill Jungle Moc's at a sporting goods store and thought they would be nice for walking around this winter. (Not for shoveling snow or trudging through a mountain of the stuff, I already have heavy duty boots for that.)
But the Merrills in store did not have wide sizes. Ordered some from Amazon and they either shipped the wrong item or those things run awfully tight. (I am a 9.5 extra wide, and most regular shoes don't fit me.) Had to return them. They need to be comfortable from day one. I dont believe in taking months to "break in" shoes.
