Last I heard (whoa, years ago), was that it's faster to run the win32 client under linux using wine than it is to run the native linux client (and that its actually faster than the win32 client under windows!). Is this still true?
I have been running s@h classic 3.03 win32 with wine for the last while, but it has problems uploading large datafiles (I did some searching on this problem: see http://forums.teamphoenixrising.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20861 and http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?t=313229). So I need a linux client so I can run the script so I don't have problems uploading results.
Can anyone help me out?
