Because cats are not typically on the menu of American-raises families, but in some Asian countries they are. It stands to reason that someone who traditionally eats cats is going to continue eating cats.
Sort of like if I move to India and they accuse me of eating beef. It would make sense, since I do eat beef, while they're usually vegetarian.

But since I don't like cats, I hereby welcome my cat-eating Asian neighbors to move into my neighborhood, which is infested with cats (I've already run over about 5 of them between the woods and the low-grade apartments. They dart across the street at night, and there are a LOT of them) CRUNCH.

Let see, by using your logic, I welcome my child kidnap/molest/murder white neighbors to move to this area. It is full of young children, a target rich environment.

Cats are on the menu in Cantonese cuisine. Are you denying this? If you're going to outright tell me that I'm wrong and Cantonese people don't eat cats, just say it right now.

I call shens
Uhm, okay?
ok
Father currently works overseas in Taipei, we lived in china for 6 years and never sold the apartments in the complex because the value skyrocketed? Moved to Andover so my sister could attend phillips academy, and stayed in the states so she could graduate from columbia? yep, shens. I'm trying so damn hard to impress.
yes. yes, you are.
sure, i can stroke my own ego. but i have a hard time with the bitter sub-bougeois that can't swallow the idea that someone else might be more well-off then themselves. ergo, meekly calling shens at everything that might theaten to reacquaint them with the misery that is their own life.
I wish there was like a thread kick option or something.

I still remember the story told to me by my uncle who was overseas in Korea (etc.) who stopped at a shop with cute little puppies. They were super cheap and all cute-n-fluffy. The shop owner said "you come back in an hour, it'll be ready for you."
My uncle thought "shots" "paperwork" etc. He was not expecting little red giblets in plastic bags when he returned.

I think your uncle is lying. I have a lot of korean friends & none have said there's such a shop. The few that eat dogs eat a certain breed thats bred for consumption when they become adults and not cute little puppies like you said.
