A proper weekly blowjob should be considered payment in full.

A weak blowjob should result in less bandwidth for the week.

What's fair is fair.

I don't know the genders involved here. But your thought is interesting. Though it could backfire, if the neighbor discusses it with the spouse. Old saying... don't shit in your own backyard.

Just change the password and be done with it. She'll just find some other neighbor to mooch off. I don't know why this is so difficult.

Holy crap! This is anything but a problem, it's an opportunity for hilarity. There are any number of ways to "fix" the problem, but why not have some fun with it. Setup the router to resolve certain domains to porn sites. Google becomes PornHub, YouTube becomes RedTube, so on and so forth, it will work even better if you look into the router logs and see which sites they like to frequent. The best thing is, since you seem to be averse to confrontations, if asked about it you can say, "Sounds like maybe you've got a virus or something".

Speaking of porn, hope the neighbor doesn't have "exquisite" tastes because the FBI will probably be a'knocking.

They are probably torrenting movies. If they can't afford internet, they can't afford cable or movies. Get ready for your notices!

I agree to let my neighbor use my wifi because she mentioned her daughter doing some school work so being a nice person i agreed, two days later i change the password and my neighbor sees me and says you better not have changed the password in a sort of joking matter im saying to myself wtf you aren't using my wifi forever so i give it to her because i don't want any problems with my neighbor.

Is there a sort of program that will make my internet so slow they probably don't want to use it any more?
If you didn't know better than to ask this sort of question on AT (especially ATOT) before, I bet you do now, huh?:whiste:

Just setup a Guest WiFi network, and give them that. Most routers let you setup different rules and limits for guest networks.

Also, the whole house is probably using your WiFi. D:

Can't you just make it so your router stops broadcasting the SSID, change the SSID so only you know it, and then if they ask about it just say you couldn't afford your internet anymore so you got rid of it?
Do that but tell her your ISP cut you off for file sharing and that you have never done it and don't understand why they cut you off.

That should be passive/aggressive enough for you.

Personally I'd go the route of telling her to buy her own wifi but there you go.

What's with the passive aggressive bs? You obviously have an issue with it so change the password and if they bring it up tell them why you did it. Case closed

Since you already gave them the password again, they know you're a bit of a pushover. Many of the replies above haven't figured that out. They also don't realize, don't piss off neighbors when possible.

Solution: just wait a few days so it's not too close to the time of the new password, and simply disconnect your modem from the router. If your device allows it, you can simply run plug in directly to the modem and skip the router; though you lose some of the security it provides. Wait until they mention it, and "yeah, I forgot to pay the bill... I'm not sure if I'm going to even bother getting it reconnected, since I'm the only one in my apartment and hardly ever use it." Wait 2 more days, change the SSID to something that implies it's from somewhere besides your apartment, and stop broadcasting it.

This way, they are able to log in to the router, but will have no Internet access. It will look like the problem exists beyond your apartment.

Maybe people who don't want to pay $200 a month to the cable company.

My phone provides "unlimited" Internet for $50/month, with tethering. ("Unlimited" = throttled after a certain limit.)

But also, if you shut off the Internet and they claim nobody can live without it these days, you can claim you're just getting it on your phone.
