16 you say? Do they have a car? Because it would be pretty easy to set a car on fire covertly.

Find somebody you know with guts and a paintball gun. Pay them to do a "drive-by" with the paintball gun.

Act shocked when it happens and run out saying "WTF was that dude thinking"

They will have no idea.

No car, they are broke as fvck. No job. No car. No Cell phone.

Going to try the cops again - hopefullly they can apply some pressure and get them to tell where its at... I just dont think they will cause these kids are little fake gangstas - and they would love nothing more than to see the dog stay missing.

If it was me, I would be hunting down these little fookers til I got my dog back. It would kill me not to have my dog with me for any time. And who knows how the dog is being treated.

This is when it's a good time to have combat-oriented friends.

This is what I would do. I'd get some friends together, preferably ones who have a good fighting mentality (cool-head, combat training, etc.) and possibly weapons. I'd get them all together and visit each of those dipsh*ts and intimidate them into giving up the location of the dog. Then we'd go get the dog back.

If this is done intelligently, the cops wouldn't give you any trouble even if they were called and knew what happened. It's not illegal.

Get another bigger dog that will attack them and retrieve your dog for you, then have the big dog protect the smaller dog.... lol

They do, but the kids do not go to school.. Normally on the run or kicked out of their house.. etc..

The mom has ZERO control over them anyhow, so I dont see why they wouldnt tell her who they gave it either.

You would be very surprised what threatening litigation will get you. Start throwing out words like mental duress and that you will be seeking excessive damages. In control of her kids or not, the idea of losing ones home generally lights a fire under them to get things done.

I agree. Regardless of whatever else you do, definitely do this. It shows that you're preparing to take it to court if need be, and gives you some ground to stand on. Don't do anything foolish or pull pranks, that doesn't do anything to get your dog back, and may actually endanger it.

Each day that passes, the dog is in more danger. Go over there pronto to do some serious talking. Don't threaten them with a suit, tell them that you are suing them. You will only abort the process if the dog is returned to you unharmed. If the dog seems like it was neglected or hurt, continue with the suit and drive that fucked up family into the ground.

They will have no idea.

A loooong time ago, in a former life, before I was saved.... I used to be quite the jerk. Anywho, someone get one of my friends preggo, and I exacted revenge in a similar fashion. Except instead of paintballing, I used spray paint. And I put swastikas, KKK, and "I hate <insert racial slur here>" all over their car. I think I slashed tires too.

But shortly after that I think my windows got broken, and my tires slashed as well (it was about 6 years ago).

I didn't get in trouble for it, but I didn't feel too great about it afterwards either. Revenge isn't really something you want to do yourself.

It is much better to have someone else be the agent of revenge. You never feel quite justified, and that "feeling of justification" is usually the difference between life and death. You see it a lot in fights. When a person has to smash the opponents head "one last time" or they have to take it up one more level. Where originally someone might have punched you and made you look stupid, so you break a bottle and slice them. Or someone keys your car, so you set their car on fire. Someone steals your dog, so you ... go too far on your own and end up going to jail.

Just be careful.

Come on, you live in Vegas and don't know and mob guys?
If not, just take a baseball bat to the back of one of there heads, stuff him in the trunk drive him out into the desert and bury him up to his neck. Leave a glass of water inches from his lips. Then smear jelly on his head and let the bugs have fun while he bakes in the sun.

They are 16, he's 22.

Kids can't keep their mouths shut. Someone will eventually rat.

Other than that, find a 16 yo, who is equally as pissed off, then kick his ass by proxy.

The cousin already ratted. Go to the kid next door and offer him some money. There is absolutely no honor among thieves. He will give up the info, and you can get the cops after the whole lot of them, including the guy you "bribed".
It's a classic manuver, one my dad used once to get a whole crew prosecuted for burglarizing his home. Idiots!

excellent idea  esp when the one you bribed gets sent to juvie as well

Any updates on the stolen dog?

Nothing.. Talked to Metro PD as well and they are basically saying - Even with the girl having knowledge of it happening, its still hearsay..And the family is playing the loyaltly card with here, so im starting to think she wants NO involvment... SO thats out the window..

What should be my best approach on litigation? Bring a lawyer over there to really drive the point home? What if they don't really go for it? IS there REALLY a lawsuit there?

I almost went out and got a new puppy yesterday with a chip in it.. HOPING they may consider taking it as well..
