Without the "Burning ROM" part, you no longer have Nero.

you have NeroExpress instead. While many people will be satisified with Nero Express, what I don't like is the lack of customizing on your burn settings. For instance, I look to set all my ISO standards to bare minimum when making DVDs. This yields superior compatiblity with many different players. I don't think you can do this with Express, at least not easily.

One thing to remember is that this version does have Burning Rom. BUT, to use Burning Rom you have to unlock it with a CD key (which in the past have been easy to find.)

I bought one of these OEM Ultra Suite 7's. It was the complete setup with all the applications. Disk was legit and said Ultra Suite 7. After registering, it automatically updated and instantly became just plane jane Nero 7. It would also not install again even on the same computer. The serial number will only work once. Emailed them and never received a reply. Paid about $30 from Softwarehouse for the thing.

I never bought nero before so I can't say which is what, but I only use Nero Express. For $10 I might buy one, but when I found out suites are super light version I didn't even bother with Nero anymore.

There is no Nero 7 Premium OEM and there never will be. Nero Ag (Germany) plan an OEM offering based on Nero 7 later this year (currently scheduled May or June 2006) which will be called Nero OEM Essentials. The build for this is not finalised at the time of writing (April 2006) so it is not available for sale by any body.

You can get this for nearly free (shipping only, I think) at MonarchComputer if combined with one of their bare-bones, M/B & CPU or systems.
In fact, for about $250, you can get a 144 Opteron and a fairly decent M/B combo + the NERO 7.
