Nero InCD stopped working??????

I use a Phillips 3200 CDRW and a Sony 10x CDRW with Win98, plenty of DDR ram. I've used Nero and Nero InCD up until now with no problems. I've used Memorex CDRW's with no trouble until now. A few days ago I noticed the InCD arrow in the taskbar was read instead of green. Anyway, after installing the newest Nero AND the newest InCD I still can't use the burners for "drag and drop" or "send to" like a floppy. Either drive won't recognize data from my CDRW's either. So after installing the new Nero software I figured erase and reformat a Memorex CDRW disk and make new backups. Still no go. It takes forever to erase and format, at least double the 20 min "normal" time. Yet they BOTH do regular burning fine.
Any ideas?

Check and see if you have dust problems inside the CDRW itself. That might be the culprit, unless your drive is going bad. I have cleaned several CD roms, RW's with a Q-tip, and some windex in the "eye" of the Roms, and they work good as new.
