I've got Nero 5.5.16 on a PII 350MHz w/230MB ram and a VIA chipset motherboard. Chipset drivers have been installed. It seems that I'm able to burn CD copies with no problem. But I tried to burn a CD from MP3 files on the harddrive and the sound quality was terrible. What sort of settings should I have my computer setup for? I'm wondering if it's the harddrive that's causing the problem (it's my friend's drive and it's probably an old UDMA33 drive)...perhaps it needs to be defragged 1st? I've burned MP3s before w/UDMA66 drives with no problems...but I might have had my PIII 667 processor in there at the time. For the record, if anyone could provide me with all the proper settings I should be using, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
