Or with a laptop with tv out. Or if your desktop is close to your tv.
But the Roku Netflix player is a good deal for $99.
They just released a kit for anyone to add there streaming to the box. So might be getting Youtube, Hulu, Joost and other streaming services added to the box as well, maybe some internet radio too.

It's about 3 megs for the highest quality and you can have 3 devices at the same time streaming Netflix Instant.
Also keep in mind that Netflix Instant Queue only works on the main profile and no user created profiles and that someone having there own profile and adding dvds to there queue will not be notified of movies that are available on the Instant Watch as well which can be problematic and annoying checking every dvd on a created profile with the main profile to see if any titles are available to watch instantly. There is also no parental controls on Netflix Instant.
Over all the video and audio sound great. Plans for High Def and 5.1 are coming.
Some movies are in fool screen and using wifi with the box seems to cause an audio pop issue sometimes. Sounds like a vinyl but only for some scenes and will be fixed in a firmware update. Also wifi users that own the Netflix player if during certain times of the day or evening the dots go from 4 to 2 and such. Try disabling UPNP on your router, it stabilized my connection and always get 4 dots now, also don't disable the SSID broadcast. If you use QOS and need to force the Netflix player for 4 dots then while looking at your queue on your Netflix player remote press Home button 5 times then Rewind 3 and Fast forward 2 (Not the left and right arrow). This will bring up the debug menu. You need at least a 6 meg connection for highest quality. Since ISPs usually offer something like 1 meg then 6 then 10 and so forth. Unless your provider has a 4 or 5 meg option.
But for the amount of content you get.......It's an awesome deal and will get better over time.
Adding Starz is a great start and Netflix "hired former DIVX Business Development VP to lead the development of new partnerships." more here:
