Yeah Netflix rocks. I just received my Roku player today by Fed Ex. Funny, I ordered it last evening and it was delivered today (on a sat).
I have to say that while its not very aesthetically pleasing, the player is a very neat device. The setup is easy as heck and the menu's are short, to the point and very simple. I've been watching 'The Office' on my plasma for the past couple of hours and the picture quality is amazing.

Yeah. I just got rid of cable. But even when I had it, I was at the mercy of the cable companies to provide me with entertainment. Now, I can choose what I want to watch for far less money.

Thinking of signing up with Netflix but have a quick question. Lets say i get the 3 DVD at a time deal. They send me 3, 2 are movies & 1 is a TV series. I watch the 2 movies but haven't gotten threw the TV series yet. Can i send back just the 2 movies or do i have to send all 3 at once before i can get more?

You can send any or all of them back. If you send 2 back they'll just send you back the next 2 movies on your queue.

Apparently it doesn't work over component. I use VGA for my HTPC, so that doesn't matter to me. It'll look pretty much the same as a 700-1500 MB divx movie ripped from a DVD source (of course that depends on your Internet connection)

finally got around to setting it up this weekend and it's working perfectly.

streaming netflix over wifi on my old crappy laptop, which is hooked up to my 42" tv via vga cable + headphone cable thing. it's pretty much dvd quality as far as I can tell.

I've been watching Jeremiah Season 1 all day. can't believe I'd never heard of it before, it's pretty good.

I do it, but it's an older CRT. Girlfriend can't tell the difference and thinks it's great.

YEa right now i have a 47 inch LG HDtv hooked up to my Computer via a Dvi to HDMI cable. The quality isn't bad at all. i watched a few series such as Knight rider (yes, i'm a hoff fan) on it. I have the audio hooked up to my surround sound but i think i need a better audio card on my computer to truly get the feel for it.

But in the end, i can have movie night at my house without it being a hassle, now if only netflix would get more instant movies...
