For the most part I liked it. I liked DD (even though there were a few dud episodes...thank god for Fisk).

With that said, I think it went way too long. Could have stuffed everything in 8 episodes. And yeah, there was a ton of lazy writing.

Yes. I was so bored watching this. I think the main reason I paid attention was because I like looking at Krysten Ritter. But otherwise, this was pretty awful. With David Tennent being a major character you'd have thought it would be better, but I guess everybody has bills to pay.

I can see why they stretched this out to 13 episodes. It looked like it was super low budget - except for the talent. So 8 episodes or 13, it probably wasn't much of a difference in terms of the cost.

I think enough people will probably watch though to make Netflix go ahead with a second season.

Alright, I've got a question for you guys. If you go to play.spotify.com and look up the Jessica Jones main theme does it sound like the main theme? They've got all sorts of other themes up (daredevil, unbreakable, etc.) and they all sound just like the actual themes, but the JJ one sounds different. I can't tell if it's the fact that I watched JJ in 360p with my crappy apple headphones, but it sounds really wrong.

Just finished the 5th episode and am liking it. It is slow and a little more backstory might help but it is interesting enough to make me want to watch more. A pleasant change from everyday TV. Being in the mood to watch really makes a difference.

well, i'm fresh off watching the first episode; i .. am on the fence. i also like watching KR, but i can't help thinking "this is the trendy chick from Apartment 23", and it kinda breaks the mood for me.
not sure if she needs to be a superhero for the story to work. she doesn't do any superhero stuff anyway.

Finished all 13 episodes today. Thought it was very, very good. There were some plot holes and some irritating turns of events in the show, and it also took a couple of episodes to get into the groove, but overall I think it's much better than most of the other superhero shows out there.

I also really appreciated the character development of sisters Jessica and Trish, with the Trish character turning out to be much more interesting and engaging than I originally would have guessed.

I gave Jessica Jones 4 out of 5 stars on Netflix.

Meanwhile, I've already given up on Heroes Reborn. That show sucks.

JJ could have snapped Killgrave's neck in episode 3, before that even. You get another 7 episodes of him trying to gain enough power to control her, while people chase him around looking like idiots.

Just was really lame writing IMHO.

If you want to watch it go for it I guess.

Not the best writing regarding that, but the point of keeping him alive was so Jessica Jones could exonerate Hope.

As a present to myself and because the dvd rental service is going to stop this month, i got myself a netflix subscription. I have just started with Jessica Jones. I find it enjoyable. And all seasons of stargate atlantis are on netflix too. The serie seems fun. There is a lot of humping though.

I had to watch the show with captions on because I was doing laundry like 5 feet away and there were 5 minute scenes of "door cracking" "distant talking" "inaudible TV sounds" before Jessica Jones delivered her 2 lines for the next 5 minutes.

Once you realize it, it can't be unseen!

I sure wish that Jessica Jones TV show was a talky since sound would really make it more entertaining!
