I finally watched the rest, was pretty weak, but did get a little better. I find it funny that a good set of earplugs would have ended the whole thing right off the bat, and kept all those people from dying. You'd think that a great PI could figure out something so simple.

Still, I liked it better than Daredevil.

The last 3rd of the season just slows the shit down for no real reason other than to make 13 episodes out of what honestly should have been 9 or 10 episodes, and no more.

I just finished Jessica Jones a few days ago and this was my biggest problem with it. The end of episode 10 felt like it could've been the final climax of the story if written that way.

Overall, I liked it and will watch season 2 if there ever is one, but there needs to be more compelling side plots if they insist on 13 episodes.

I thought it started off well, but the last 2 episodes appeared dragged out and it was just bad, ruined the whole season for me. I really don't understand why it has over 90% rotten tomatoes rating. Yeah it's dark and all, but I prefer a coherent story.

Only David Tennant really worth watching. The rest of the cast is OK but Kristen Ritter is just plain awful. Almost ruins the entire show.

Was sick over the weekend and started watching. 1st episode is slow but it really draws you in. Love the pacing and focusing on the characters instead of the super powers. (The hawt sex isn't bad either )

the dad discovered he controls people via a virus, and not just audio (hence why it didn't work over speakers originally). It makes 0% sense that earplugs would render one immune unless the only way pathogens got in your body was via your ears... -_-

The reason you were compelled to do as he said may have been a type of virus, but if you couldn't hear what he wanted you to do, how can you do it? In other words, the virus made it so you had to do what he said. If you can't hear what he's saying the virus wouldn't do anything.. unless you read lips maybe?

sweet. I liked the first season overall. Slow burn series are good when done reasonably well.
