Netflix or Blockbuster?

I've been out of the movie renting loop for a while. Which is better now, netflix or blockbuster?

Blockbuster - Use the online source for TV Shows, cult classic movies , and older movies. Return them to store for new releases.

I like Netflix. I got them a long time ago, and when Blockbuster started their online thing, I saw no reason to change. Netflix now has the online watch now option which is nice. The selection for online viewing is pretty limited now, but its still cool. Everyone always defends blockbuster by saying you can return them in store to get more. Well, thats fine, but the whole reason I got netflix was so that I dont have to go to the store. I hated going to blockbuster before netflix.

i remember when blockbuster screwed over its customers and favored pan and scan over widescreen/unrated cuts and fiddled with late fees etc. before netflix we were treated like sh*t, i won't support blockbuster.

I would get blockbuster simply b/c there are 2 stores within 2 miles of me.

I prefer netflix, if you have three out at a time option you always have one you are watching one returning and one coming if not more at home.

And, I think they have a better selection than blockbuster.

I like Netflix. I never liked Blockbuster when I had an account with them. Horrible customer service.

I've been using Netflix since 1999 and don't see any reason to change.

They carry almost every in-print US DVD, HD-DVD and blu-ray except pr0n.

I don't rent to excess, so I'm not throttled: as usual, I'm getting The Fountain on blu-ray and Pan's Labyrinth on DVD tomorrow, no waiting.

If you want to try to rent 20 movies a month with a $20 plan, then BB is a better deal.

Netflix has served me well for well over a year now, though I recently have been running out of choices.

I like Blockbuster more, and I used to have Netflix. With their instore free rental, I get the same amount of movies as I did with Netflix for $5 less (two at a time plan Netflix vs 1 at a time Blockbuster).

Plus I get things faster with Blockbuster and no apparent throttling.

i switched to blockbuster from netflix, but i feel guilty about it.

when netflix's online watching program expands i plan to switch back.

at first blockbuster shipped achingly slow. they are still not as fast as netflix but pretty good.
