How does easy rebates work. I filled in my information, registered myself and printed out the form. Do i need to send it along with the invoice i will recieve with the shipment. I am little confused about this. I have not recieved any e-mail about the rebate.

If you do the Easy Rebates you don't mail in anything.

I am not getting easy rebate link for this rebate. I am only getting two links one that expired in January and other that expired on Feb11th. Also Item number in my purchase confirmation e-mail is showing up as SKU: IM1-390925 and it really should be 511397. What is going on here?

I like the router & USB adapter, but the Netgear rebates are confusing as hell. If I were to do it over, I'd look for a different deal w/o all the rebates. However, the router & USB adapter work like a charm.

I have this router.....it is alright. The software isn't bad, but it takes a bit getting used to, however, configuring this router via the smart wizard is a pain in the a$$. The performance is good, but when i turn WEP on, the connection never stays and it always disconnects on my g/f's computer. When security is limited to IP masking, it's an awsome router. Otherwise, it can be a pain. I am currently looking for a new router, and when i get one, i am gonna be selling this for $10-$15. Anyone ever try wireless routers from Motorola?

Yep they are gone online. I tried at 4.45 EST and they were gone as my local staples was out and I did not want to make the 30 mile drive to just save the 3 rebates from Comp USA for the same price verus the 1 30.00 rebate.

Yep I made the drive. I have to return the Comp USA one now.

exactly what he said ... i'm about to go buy a linksys 'cause this netgear is a pain if you want any security ...

I just installed my router, which came today from Staples (not bad considering that I ordered it Sunday night IMO). I bought experimentally, not knowing if it would be noticeably better than my old 802.11b Microsoft. It sure is! It's significantly snappier to load pages, and my Speedtest went through the roof. Definitely worth the $10.

Anyone know if the Wireless G USB adapter works any slower than the Wireless G PCI adapter? They have the sale on the notebook card and the USB but not the PCI card...

The airlink is similar to the d-link.
Well netgearis not at all bad for $10. It was a cake walk for me. No probs with the router till now.

I don't know what you two are talking about. Configuring the security for this router is no more difficult than for any other -- youjust log into the router, select the security link and set it up.
