I've been looking at my network settings and was wondering if they are responsible for my too-long bootup sessions. I'd like to trim them down if possible. Here's what they are:
Client for Microsoft Networks
Dial-Up Adapter
Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)
Microsoft Virtual Private Networking Adapter
Motorola SurfBoard 4100 USB Cable Modem
NDISWAN -> Microsoft Virtual Private Networking Adapter
NetBEUI -> Dial-Up Adapter
NetBEUI -> Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)
NETBEUI -> Motorola SurfBoard 4100 USB Cable Modem
TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter
TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter #2 (VPN Support)
TCP/IP -> Motorola SurfBoard 4100 USB Cable Modem
Primary Network Logon:
Windows Logon

I occasionally use dialup, and I have only 1 connectoid so I don't know why there are 2. Can I remove some of this stuff? It is the only computer in the house and not on any network.
Thanks!
